Students will be able to attend the 6 live Zoom sessions with doctors and medical students that work best with their schedule. Each guest speaker will discuss their career path, share advice on college and medical school admissions, and answer students questions.
Note: All Zoom sessions are recorded so you can watch them asynchronously if you’re unable to attend live.
Guest speakers schedules change frequently, so the final schedule will be announced in April.
All students can attend optional weekly office hours via Zoom to ask questions and work with Ratio 21’s team of instructors and experts.
You’ll be invited to a Slack chatroom where you can interact with other students and the Ratio 21 team. This will be the fastest way for students to get their questions answered and receive feedback.
Technology enables flexibility. We offer day and evening programming, as well as recorded sessions, to accommodate busy schedules and students from around the world.
Note: Final schedules will be released in April.
For students looking for a more rigorous, hands-on experience, we offer assignments and support on completing an initial research project, from coming up with the idea to presenting in front of your peers.
Before this program, I had never had medical students share advice on the process of applying for medical school, residency and after. Some of the activities the visitors did with us required us to put ourselves in the shoes of a doctor, and these experiences really contributed to me assuring myself that I do truly want to go into the medical field.
